  • Ability to connect 16 PSTN Interfaces in a Single Slot with Scalability option
  • Supports integration with modern Mobile networks
  • Functional with more than 100 VoIP Subscribers with seamless flexibility to inter-switch
  • Interoperable with Digital Trunk exchanges of multiple makes (E1/PRI) – 120 channels in one slot to 480 channels per chassis
  • Integrated with various Radio Interfaces like HF/ VHF /UHF radios
  • Operational with both AC & DC input power supply.
  • Ruggedized Chassis for Harsh Environmental Conditions both Military & Industrial Environment*

Adding a new communications format to the system can be as simple as plugging in the appropriate interface module and connecting the new equipment to the RIG backplane.

Applications

  • Network centric warfare : The armed forces having distinct networks operating at different levels of hierarchy, can utilize RIGs for congregation and interoperability.
  • Disaster Management: “First-Responders” include the National Guard, various police and public safety organizations, have their own communications systems. With RIG, each can communicate with one another ensuring seamless coordination.

Tactical Access Switches

The TASL Tactical Access Switch (TAS) solution is meant to provide local/trunk switching based on IP/MPLS technology and cater for data, VOIP including video as well as aggregation and switching facility for traditional TDM voice switches.

Key Capabilities

  • Provides E1/E2 /E3 capabilities for interfacing with Radios
  • implements IP / MPLS routing catering to all available interfaces/media ranging from STM 1/E3 OFC
  • Provide local / trunk switching on VOIP protocol for integratiion with traditional TDM voice switches on E1 interfaces.
  • Provide 10Gbps capacity on Fiber link

Ruggedized Ethernet Switch (RES)

Ruggedized PTP Synchronization (RPSync-1400)

RPSync series is designed for military grade synchronization requirements with accuracy in microseconds for harsh environment & military applications

Salient Features:

  • Up to Sub microsecond accuracy for timing synchronization
  • Master/Slave Operation PTPv2 (IEEE-1588-2008)
  • Supports both PTP as well as NTP protocols
  • Provide dedicated interface for PTP protocol transmissions
  • Complete time-code reader/generator package for servers and computers to realize sub-microsecond synchronization over the LAN.
  • Supports remote IP allocation as remote IP monitoring.

The system also distributes accurate time over the Ethernet using NTP (Network Time Protocol). The unit will act as time-server and designed for synchronizing the client systems/devices over the network. It takes the GPS time as reference and responds to the requests for time by the clients. The server also broadcasts the time in NTP format periodically. The unit also supports other protocols like SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol).

SOFTWARE APPLICATIONS

The TASL’s Radio Planning Tool is used in pre-mission planning and deployment of LOS Radio network compatible to geographical mission area conditions.
he Radio Planning Tool helps in pre-mission planning for PTMP LOS radio network by finding nominal candidates for deployment. It has GIS and microwave propagation model integrated seamlessly. Graphical User Interface (GUI) is the primary user interface and it accepts all necessary inputs to perform the RF propagation analysis, based on which the field strength plot will be displayed on the GIS maps for any particular mission being planned.

The RF Planning tool simulates EM-wave propagation using standard propagation model and predicts most reliable locations on GIS maps where line-of-sight can be achieved by using antenna masts. The output locations obtained from the radio planning tool act as nominal candidates for tactical deployment.

The tool comprises module for GIS, RF propagation and Report generation. The planning tool generates reports and output plots as per Mission requirements, which can be used for automatically configuring Radio and Antenna Control Unit (ACU).

Basic Features

  • Intuitive integrated GIS with built-in MGRS
  • Multi-layered GIS
  • Point-to-Multipoint Link design
  • Finds deployment shortest path by road
  • Detailed RF LOS link design
  • Frequency channel planning
  • Ability to link with Command and Control Software

Operating Platform Support

  • Operating System: RHEL, Ubuntu, Centos
  • Hardware: 32- bit, 64- bit.
  • Architecture: Intel, AMD
