At Tata Advanced Systems, it is our continuous endeavor to uplift the socially and economically marginalized groups- orphans, children from Child Care Institutions (CCI), women, and children from backward rural areas & senior citizens, in terms of Health, Education, skills training and entrepreneurship, livelihoods, women empowerment and strengthening services. The 4 Thrust Areas For CSR at TASL are:
- Conservation and Rural Development
- Promoting Preventive Health Care
- Care for the Elderly, Orphans, and underprivilege
- Promoting Education and Livelihood Enhancement
**All the CSR projects initiated are under schedule 7 of Section 135
CSR Approach
- Focus for developmental activities will be in urban as well as rural areas
- In execution of each project, the company will endeavor to create a model which is sustainable and replicable
- While we will ensure that all communities benefit from our CSR activities, we will particularly focus on those groups that are socially and economically marginalized (orphans, children from juvenile homes, women and children from backward rural areas & senior citizens
Delivery Mechanism
- Whilst we partner with credible organizations selected after rigorous due diligence, part of the CSR efforts of TADL will be implemented by our employees efforts.
- Every project will be diligently tracked and audited to ensure appropriate utilization of funds.
- If required a project will be carried forward to the ensuing financial year or beyond to meet the desired results.
- We will also collaborate with the State Government in projects which are for the larger good of population.

Schedule VII Item No I : Promoting Preventive Healthcare
- Support to Aravind Eye Hospital for Project Shine to set up prosthetic eye lab to treat the poorest children and adults suffering from eye cancers
- Support CMC Vellore to develop a wheelchair treadmill for the patients with spinal cord injury

- Support Naandi in empowering underprivileged girls to pursue graduation and enhancing their skills leading to better employment opportunities
- Support Shine NGO under Project Savera to provide a sustainable source of livelihood for women and children who lost their sole earning member of their family to covid
- Support Mool NGO under Project Savera to provide a sustainable source of livelihood for women of low socio-economics backgrounds
- Support Sri Aurobindo Society for ‘Our Responsibility to Children’ programme - a comprehensive school-based initiative towards improved mental health of children involving their entire ecosystem – School, Home and Community
