Tata Power SED's Tactical Field Computer (TFC) is a nd th 2 Generation or 4 Generation Intel® CoreTM i7 based Ruggedised Computer suitable for use in harsh military environments. TFC is designed for applications demanding high processing power and has a variety of communication interfaces such as Ethernet, USB, RS-422 and RS-232. Internal expansion sites allows for integration of new generation Wireless interfaces or accommodation of additional Storage devices. It also has a GPS receiver for self-location and an analog video Interface for acquiring and displaying video from electro-optics platforms. TFC has built in a custom QWERTY Keyboard, 12 Function Keys and 10.4" high brightness rugged display with an integrated Touchscreen.

Tata Power SED's TFC is ideal for mounting on Tracked Vehicles, Wheeled Vehicles, Artillery Guns and Command Posts. D389999 Series Ill metal shell circular connectors are used for external world 1/0 interfaces and dual hot-swappable Li-ion battery packs provide the TFC with the capability of uninterrupted power for continuous operation. The internal design of TFC is highly modular and thus it can be configured for different types of end applications in a very short time. Depending on the user requirements, the circular connector pin-out and the peripherals can also be customised. Customisation for interfaces such as CANbus, MIL STD-1553, Discrete I/O's can be undertaken even for small quantities.

The TFC has a 10.4” high-brightness rugged display with an integrated Touchscreen and communication interfaces such as Ethernet, USB, RS-422 and RS- 232. Internal expansion site allows for integration of new generation Wireless interfaces or accommodation of additional Storage devices. The unit is designed for use in extreme harsh environments encountered in the battlefield. It operates uninterrupted even when dropped from a height of four feet in any orientation and upto depths of 1m under water. Tata Power SED’s Mobile Rugged Computer ® TM (MRC) is an Intel Atom based Ruggedised Light-weight Tablet Computer suitable for use in harsh environments typically in the battlefield. The system is designed specifically for mobile applications and has interfaces such as GPS, Ethernet, USB & multiple RS-422. Tata Power SED’s has a 7” high-brightness rugged LCD and an anti-glare shock- / scratch-resistant touchscreen. It also has a 10-key compact fixed function keyboard.

Tata Power SED’s MRC is rugged and meets all JSS-55555 requirements for drop resistance, shock, rain, temperature, humidity & vibration. The MRC is thus a versatile and rugged which can be configured for different types of end applications in a very short time. Depending on the application interface requirements, the circular connector pin-out and peripherals can be customised.

Wearable Tactical Computer (WTC) is a Low Power ARM Cortex A9 or equivalent based Wearable Computer, suitable for use in harsh environments. It has a variety of communication interfaces such as Ethernet, USB and RS-422. It also has an Interface for acquiring and displaying video from electro-optic sights or platforms. WTC has 5” integrated display of WVGA (800x480) resolution and a resistive Touchscreen for operation.

There are two storage options available in WTC, 8GB Nand Flash for storing OS and Application and 32GB μSD card for data logging. WTC has 5MP rear camera for taking pictures and videos in an actual field scenario. This can be disabled or enabled as required in different configurations. WTC is ideal for wearing on the wrist of the mobile Warrior. It can also be used with a MOLLE type or PALS type pouch and fixed on the soldier BLCV.
