105mm Mounted Gun System

Tata Advanced Systems successfully upgraded the 105mm Field Gun to a 105mm Mounted Gun System, in close partnership with the Gun Carriage Factory at Jabalpur. The systems consist of a 105mm Light Field Gun mounted on a 6x6 25 ton wheeled vehicle offering high terrain mobility.

The 105mm Self Propelled system is a significantly enhanced version of the towed variant, enabling rapid deployment with the following benefits:

  • Hydraulic Outriggers for stability during firing
  • Design of understructure assembly and its integration with the vehicle
  • Electronic Positioning & Control for improved accuracy
  • Shoot & Scoot capability
  • Capable of autonomous operation
